About Scandiown
A Swedish company that builds software people can trust, starting with how they talk to each other.
Mission
Privacy has become a premium feature sold by companies whose business depends on the opposite. Scandiown exists to turn that around: software that is private by default, hosted in Sweden, paid for by the people and organisations that use it rather than by their data.
The founder
Scandiown was founded by Mohammad Abdsharifi, a senior DevSecOps engineer based in Gothenburg. He designed and built the entire SweChat stack alone: the iOS and macOS apps, the servers, the admin console and the security architecture around BankID.
Bio and photo to be supplied by the founder before launch.
Values
- Swedish ground. Data stays in Sweden, under Swedish and EU law. We name every processor we use.
- Honest stage. We say what is live, what is in testing and what is a vision. No partner logos without permission, no certifications we do not hold.
- Craft over speed. One person built SweChat with care. We would rather ship less and ship it well.
