Privacy policy

This notice covers the website scandiown.com. SweChat, the app, has its own notice at swechat.se.

What we process and why

Contact form. Name, email address, subject and message, plus the IP address and browser identifier of the submission. Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox under the form. Purpose: to answer your request. Kept for up to 12 months on a server in Sweden and in our mailbox, then deleted.

Server logs. IP address, requested page, time and browser identifier, written by the web server for security and error handling. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure site. Kept for 30 days.

Nothing else. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Theme and 3D preferences are stored in your own browser only.

Processors

  • Hostup (Sweden) hosts the server that serves the site and receives form messages.
  • STRATO (Germany) hosts our mailboxes, including the copy of each form message sent to us.

No other party receives your data. We do not sell or share it.

Your rights

Under articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object or withdraw consent at any time by writing to privacy@scandiown.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
